1. CALL TO ORDER
The CLAN Organization Study Committee meeting was called to order by Chair Kathryn Taylor at 9:45 A.M. at the Warwick Public Library.

In attendance: Ginny Moses (CLAN); Anne Parent (DSL); John Carney (EPL); Susan Aylward (NKI and CLAN Secretary); Regina Slezak (NPT); Carol Brouwer (NSM and CLAN Vice Chair); Doug Pearce (WAR); Kathryn Taylor (WES and CLAN Chair); Dan Austin (PPL); and Peter Bennett (PPL)

2. DISCUSSION OF CLAN´S ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
The Committee discussed issues of CLAN´s organizational structure as it relates to the hierarchy of the organization; representation, communication & decision-making; and planning and development. This discussion included comparisons between CLAN´s bylaws and the bylaws of other selected networks (C/W MARS, Minuteman, SAILS, and LION). Chair Kathryn Taylor appointed a Bylaws subcommittee consisting of Regina Slezak (Chair), Susan Aylward, and Dan Austin to look at possible bylaws changes to be recommended to the Steering Committee for consideration.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:10P.M.
