Lincoln Public Library. In attendance: Mike Barrette (JOH), Evan Barta (NKI), Deborah Homer (JAM), Christine Jeffers (PAW), Georgene Luttmann (LIN) and Melanie Ruggieri (LIN).

I.                   Call to order- Georgene Luttmann called the meeting to order at 9:55am.

II.                Approval of the May 14, 2009 minutes ? Mike made a motion to accept the minutes. Deborah seconded the motion. Motion passed.

III.             Scheduling upcoming meetings - The following meetings were scheduled:

September 3, 2009 at the Jamestown Library

November 12, 2009 at the OSL office

V.                Envisionware Discussion

a.      Georgene mentioned that the files to backup on your Envisionware Console PC were posted on the Wordpress website at 204.17.98.49/wordpress.

b.      Evan said to be sure that Guest Pass tab has ?apply usage restrictions to guest users? checked off. Otherwise, no restrictions occur on guest numbers.

c.       What to do when Millennium is down but the Internet is up. Chris said to uncheck ?require a valid user ID? under the User Validation tab on the management console.

d.      Deborah said that there is already an enhancement request in to Envisionware that would allow you to centrally stop Envisionware from running on a group of computers when you want to perform maintenance on several PCs.

VI.             Mixed Bag ?

a.      Georgene said that she had trouble installing Windows XP from a XP CD on an Optiplex 760(also 755) because it wanted a RAID (AHCI) driver. But since the PC did not have a floppy drive, she needed an external usb floppy drive(as per Rick) in order to get the driver installed. The image that Rick makes includes the driver.

b.      Melanie recently purchased a digital picture frame from Amazon to run a Power Point show off a usb flash drive. Others could use it to promote library programs and events, etc.
