Champlin Foundations Grants to CLAN Libraries, 1999
|
Member libraries report the following Champlin Foundations Grants were awarded to them in November, 1999:
Barrington
Hi, Again! Yes, we did get all we asked for at BAR. Some $60,000 plus.
but the letter was odd because it said something about how some requests
were only partially funded and others not at all; first time I'd seen that
notice in a champlin letter.
Charlestown
Hi - Yes CHA has heard and considering the $57 million requests and the $22
million available we are most pleased that we have been awarded 71% of the
$ requested.
That total amount is $18,552 (for Bay Stack, 4 PCs, laser printer, Images
of RI, tile floor for in front of the circulation desk, front entry display
systems, book truck & table) - what would we all do without them?
CLAN Administration
The CLAN administrative office at WAR received a generous Champlin grant
for the following items:
Coversion of 30,000 non-Marc records
Acoustic panels
NT server
PC's for our training lab
Printers
Software
Workstations
Furniture
Wiring and lighting
Copy machine
Where would we be without Champlin!
